Kelly Clarkson offers a much-needed musical escape with her gorgeous cover of “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves. While The Kelly Clarkson Show On Friday the singer played a stripped down version of the country song that makes us very emotional. Accompanied by just one pianist on stage, Clarkson poured her heart out as she sang the lyrics, “You’re holding on to your umbrella / Well, darling, I’m just trying to tell you that there has always been a rainbow hangin ‘ . ” over your head. “After a chaotic 2020 and kick-off into 2021, the song is exactly what we needed right now.
