GOP MP Marjorie Taylor Greene and her staff allegedly “berated” Missouri House Democrat Cori Bush, who said on Friday that she was moving her office from Greene “for the security of my team.”

Bush also said in a tweet that the Georgia Republican “targeted me and others on social media”.

Greene, looking away from the camera, says, “You know what, yeah, don’t yell at people. You know what, you shouldn’t bring Covid-positive members here! Spread Covid everywhere! Stop being a hypocrite!”

In a statement sent by her office, Bush said the clash took place on Jan. 13 in the underground tunnel that connects the Cannon House office building and the Capitol.

Bush said Greene “came up behind me and scolded loudly into her phone without wearing a mask.”

“This came a day after several of my colleagues in the House of Representatives announced they had tested positive for COVID-19 after being in a room with Taylor Greene during the White Supremacist attack on the Capitol,” the said Legislator.

Bush said that “out of concern for the health of my staff, other members of Congress, and their congressional staff, I repeatedly asked them to put on a mask,” at which Greene and her staff “cursed me.”

Greene has expressed his support for radical pro-Trump conspiracy theory, QAnon, whose believers, in some instances, cheered the Capitol break-in that killed five people.

Greene recently came under additional fire after she reportedly approached a survivor of the Parkland, Florida shooting and disliked social media posts calling for violence against Democrats.

On Wednesday, a news crew from NBC subsidiary WRCB was reportedly removed from an event at City Hall and threatened with arrest after attempting to ask Greene a question.

Pelosi has blown Greene and the “absolutely appalling” decision by the House Republicans to appoint Greene to the House Education Committee.

“What could you think? Or is thinking too generously a word for what you might do?” Pelosi said at a press conference Thursday.

A spokesman for the minority leader of the House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., Did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Pelosi’s remarks.

The past year has been difficult for many people. The pandemic, politics, job loss and isolation – most Americans had to find some new coping mechanisms to get through. Here’s one: erasure poetry.

Creativity can heal in difficult times, but harnessing these creative juices is not always easy. Sometimes you are just too overwhelmed and exhausted to write or create. During these times it can be helpful to turn to found poetry – a style of poetry where you write something new using only what you can find in an existing text.

Sometimes when it’s hard to write, this caveat gives you a starting point. It’s a bit like a painter working with a limited palette: you have both a solid foundation to begin your poem on and the challenge of creating something with just what you have in front of you. And even if you have difficulty writing traditionally constructed poetry, the medium of poetry found can give you access to vocabulary that you didn’t know you needed.

One of the forms of found poetry is erasure. The author finds something new to say in an existing text; in this case an article from the Times. Blackout poetry is a style of erasure that removes the words around a poem you found in the text to present both a piece of literature and a strong image of that literature on the same page.

You may be wondering, am I really writing a poem using someone else’s work to start? Yes! To write a well-found poem – and in this case a deletion – the poet has to intervene in the source text. This means that your poem is saying something different than the source code. It will be representative of your voice and your narrative.

The rules are pretty simple: in the event of a deletion, you can only use the words that appear in the article you selected, and you must use them in the order they appear. How you erase the words around your poem is up to you. Find out how to do it.

How are you going to delete? Would you like to use Wite-Out? A marker? Sparkle? Maybe you will try a collage. Erasing in the above poem was done with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

You can choose an article that makes you feel strong – joy, anger, or sadness. Or you choose an article that you cannot relate to at all. Both are great places to start. Once you’ve read the article, you’ll be able to identify words and phrases that you find interesting or that appeal to you, regardless of the context of the piece. Try to come up with at least one interesting or strong word to build the poem around.

It is important that your voice speaks in your poem, and not that of the original writer – a deletion poem should not summarize the material it was created from. It should say something new. Before you start this sharpie or wite-out, you may want to use a pencil to outline the words you want to keep. You can also make some copies of your article to practice or experiment marking up the page from the original newspaper page you are using.

When ready, erase any words other than those in your poem using the medium of your choice.

The long-awaited “Snyder Cut” from the Justice League will hit HBO Max on March 18th.

On Friday, director Zack Snyder announced the news on Twitter. WarnerMedia followed up with additional information about the release, saying it would be a full-length film, not the four separate hour-long episodes that were originally planned.

In May 2020, WarnerMedia announced that it would invest in the repatriation of Snyder. The move was seen as a way to calm fans down and bolster signups for HBO Max.

According to initial estimates, the price was between 20 and 30 million US dollars, since most of the computer-generated images were not yet ready. However, recent estimates suggest that WarnerMedia could have spent $ 70 million or more on the project as Snyder brought back several actors to direct new material.

The re-shoots will add four to five minutes of new footage, Snyder said.

The group was registered as a nonprofit called the CDL Rapid Screening Consortium in November, with each company contributing $ 230,000 in operating costs.

This week, 45 Republican Senators voted in favor of a move put forward by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul that ruled the trial unconstitutional because Mr. Trump is no longer in office. The fact that all but five Republican senators voted to question the constitutionality of the process indicated a possible acquittal for Mr Trump.

Democrats pushed back, finding that Mr Trump was indicted by the House while he was still in office.

Still, the issue of constitutionality is likely to be an integral part of Mr Trump’s defense. And his advisors were delighted with Republicans’ support for the Paul measure, believing it was an indication that Mr Trump would be spared conviction.

The Senate needs a two-thirds majority, or 67 votes, to condemn Mr. Trump, which means 17 Republicans would have to cross the party lines to join the Democrats in declaring him guilty. An additional vote, which would require a simple majority, would be required to remove him from office. Still, most of his aides say they doubt he will run for office again.

Steve Cohen, the founder of Point72 hedge fund and owner of the New York Mets, turned off his Twitter account after his family received threats in the GameStop trading frenzy this week.

“I really enjoyed the back and forth with Mets fans on Twitter, which was unfortunately overtaken this week by misinformation unrelated to the Mets that resulted in our family receiving personal threats,” Cohen said in a statement on Saturday.

“So I’m taking a break for the time being. We have other options to listen to your suggestions and keep advocating,” he said.

Cohen’s hedge fund, which manages nearly $ 19 billion in assets, lost nearly 15% this year after small investors drove shares of video game retailer GameStop, a source familiar with the matter told the New York Times.

The losses at Point72 are mainly due to the company’s investment in the hedge fund Melvin Capital, which bet against GameStop and had to receive emergency money of nearly $ 3 billion from two outside investors, including Point72.

Cohen, who bought the Mets for about $ 2.5 billion in November, was faced with questions on Twitter about how Melvin’s losses would affect the baseball team.

Cohen also had a back-and-forth with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy on Twitter Thursday after Portnoy accused Cohen of being involved in controversial trade restrictions in GameStop for apps like Robinhood.

Protesters Disrupt Dodger Stadium Vaccinations

Motorists queuing at one of the largest vaccination stations in the country were stopped briefly on Saturday afternoon when protesters arrived at Dodger Stadium, authorities said.

At around 1:50 p.m. Pacific time, authorities closed the entrance to the stadium, said David Ortiz, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department. The closure lasted for about an hour before the entrance reopened while vaccinations continued at the stadium, Ortiz said. About 50 demonstrators were present at the entrance.

The Los Angeles Police and Fire Department did not comment on whether the protesters belonged to groups or what exactly they were demonstrating against.

However, photos posted on social media show people holding posters saying “99.96% survival rate” and “End the lockdown” and other paraphernalia that appear to condemn the existence of the pandemic and coronavirus vaccinations.

The vaccination site at Dodger Stadium opened on January 15th. Since then, those seeking to get vaccinated have faced a variety of waiting times, with the spot highlighting some of the logistical hurdles involved in vaccinating people in one of America’s largest cities. For the past week, an average of nearly 7,000 cases per day were reported in Los Angeles County, according to a New York Times database. The city of Los Angeles has one of the highest vaccination rates in the country, as nearly 83 percent of the doses the city has received have been given.

The new film about FX and Hulu also examines the avid fan base who believe Spears should be exempted from the Conservatory and re-examines how the media treated one of the greatest pop stars of all time.
